The annual “Are You Smarter Than a Gaston County Fifth Grader?” competition was held Tuesday, May 3 at 6:00 p.m. at Stuart W. Cramer High School. Congratulations to North Belmont Elementary for being recognized as the 2022 Champion. The event is a fundraiser to provide grants for teachers and features school teams paired with business representatives to prove who really is smarter than a fifth grader.
